As the new season begins, it’s time for good resolutions. Even if you’re motivated, staying on track requires finding places where you feel good. We’ve found fun and stylish workout classes that make you want to move and keep coming back. Let’s get physical !

Kalon Studio

Kalon Studio Paris Gym

The studio : Already a fan of Kalon ? The fitness concept created by dancers from the world’s top cabarets is opening its first Parisian studio. Expect a glamorous room and ultra-chic dressing rooms that resemble backstage dressing areas. This new kind of studio, with its cozy, velvety, and decidedly sensual atmosphere, delivers on its promise, successfully conveying the codes of cabaret.

The classes : Designed to sculpt long, lean muscles and achieve a posture as graceful as professional dancers, Kalon’s classes come in four versions : Kalon Barre Posture, Booty, Power, and Total Body. The coaches, exuding elegance and femininity, are ready to advise and correct your posture.

The extra perk : The stunning dressing rooms, designed like a dressing area, immediately immerse you in the experience and pamper you with available beauty products and amenities.

Kalon Studio, 6 rue Rodier, Paris 9th. Online reservation or via the Kalon Studio Paris app. €32 per session.

Studio Rowing Episod

studio Rowing episod Paris gym

The studio : You might not know it, but Episod is the only gym in Paris with a studio entirely dedicated to rowing. This season, the studio has undergone a makeover with a new bootcamp-inspired setup, offering a mix of floor and rowing machine exercises, all under new lighting effects and a fresh playlist.

The classes : In addition to the new design, Episod has created three new programs: Rowing Strong for strength, Rowing Blast for cardio, and Rowing Core for a rock-solid core. Having tested Rowing Blast, we can tell you it’s intense. We recommend not going in as a novice and having some cardio background before diving in.

The extra perk : Besides the top-notch dressing rooms (shoutout to the Dyson hair dryers), we loved the perfectly arranged co-working space on the ground floor and the small bar offering drinks and protein bars.

Studio Rowing Episod, 14 place Jacques Bonsergent, Paris 10th. Online reservation. €29 per session.

Burning Bar

Burning Bar Paris gym

The studio : Burning Bar is probably the chicest private Hot Pilates club in the capital. This sleek and intimate studio, equipped with the latest gear, is heated to 35 degrees by infrared heat for an immediate detox effect during classes that can be booked individually, even without a membership. The best part: the dim lighting and candles create an ultra-calm, healthy atmosphere, perfect for staying focused on your workout.

The classes : The schedule includes seven classes ranging from intense to gentle (Full Body on Fire, Power Fire Flow, Burning Flow, Pilates Therapy, etc.). Among our favorites: Guided Serenity (meditation) and Burning Core Shape, which is quite intense if you’re not used to it but really worth it for sculpting a steel body. Note: Members can access a gym, sauna, and hammam on weekends.

The extra perk : Burning Bar extends its wellness experience with signature massages: kobido, slimming, deep tissue, Swedish, or Californian (154 € for 60 minutes).

Burning Bar, 42 avenue Raymond Poincaré, Paris 16th. Online reservation. €40 per session.

The classes : At Hundred, Pilates is practiced in all its forms. You can take Barrels classes, which support the spine, Chair classes created by Joseph Pilates, Reformer (the classic), and Tower, which develop strength and flexibility. A team of six coaches leads sessions based on their strengths and specialties.

The extra perk : Private lessons are available solo, in pairs, or online… and you can even train to become a Pilates instructor if you’re looking for a life change. Ready to take the plunge ? Now’s the time.

Dune

Dune fitness center in Paris

The studio : A different kind of gym. Welcome to Dune, a “home-like” gym, perfectly decorated and super comfortable, with a large, well-equipped kitchen, a living room, and a big table for brunching after your session. The dressing rooms, like the entire space, are ultra-cozy (and particularly Instagrammable).

The classes : Between Pilates, yoga, and talks, Dune is a space where everyone finds their happiness. To avoid workout routine fatigue, the amazing instructors (Anouk Amel or Alice Pilates regularly teach here) and programs change frequently.

The extra perk : The gym is available for private events, so you can organize your event from half a day to a full day + evening, including a fancy meal and activities like a yoga & naturopathy workshop or a chocolate tasting workshop. Not bad, right?

Dune, 10 rue André Antoine, Paris 18th. Online reservation.

HIIT DRIP

Hiit Drip Fitness Center in Paris

The studio : When you go to DRIP, it’s to push your limits! This HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) studio, part of The Sanctuary group that owns Le Cercle Boxing, POSES Studio, Aqua By, and DECIBEL, is a true invitation to surpass yourself. In the heart of the 8th arrondissement, the studio offers intense workouts in the dark, set to custom playlists.

The classes : The concept is simple. 7 bases, 3 rounds, and 1 minute per base. No fewer than 14 coaches are available to push you through burpee series. You’ll already be regretting those three-nights-a-week happy hours! The workouts are numerous, with scientific names like Dumbbell (a fancy word for weights), Medicine Ball (a fancy word for ball), Skierg (a fancy word for ski simulator—yes, you heard that right), and the list goes on.

The extra perk : Indoor and outdoor sessions allow you to get some fresh air by working out in Parc Monceau AND in the studio. Not bad to breathe a little nature!
