Where to Customize Your Favorite Pieces in Paris?

How to give a second life to your favorite items? A ripped pair of jeans, a bag lacking a little sparkle, or a soul-less pair of sneakers: we’ve found five stores where you can customize your favorite pieces and make them unique. In addition to being a sustainable approach, you’ll be the most stylish with your new creations. So, let’s dig through our wardrobes and head to these amazing spots for an immediate transformation!

Adidas

Atelier de customisation Adidas

To add ribbons, charms, and beautiful designs to your new sneakers, head to Adidas’ largest flagship store in Europe, located on Avenue des Champs-Élysées. The iconic three-stripe brand offers a customization corner in this massive 820 m² space, spread over three floors and featuring its lifestyle, sports, and running collections. Our ultimate obsession? The ability to customize your shoes right after purchasing them, turning your Gazelle, Samba, or Handball into truly unique and super fun models.

If you need embroidery, head down to the basement level (-1), but most of the customization options are available on the first floor. There, an artist will take care of transforming your pair: you can request a custom drawing or choose from dozens of adorable charms, bows, beads, colorful or lace shoelaces, chains, patches, and pendants. Prices start at €9.95 for a pack of five items, €4.95 for fun laces, and from €9.95 for embroidery.

Our tip? Drop off your freshly purchased pair in the morning to pick them up as soon as possible during the day, and stroll along the Champs-Élysées while waiting for your masterpiece. Bonus: already customized models are on display to inspire you.

Adidas Flagship Store Paris, 88 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris 8e. Open from 10 am to 8:30 pm.

Levi’s

Atelier de customisation Levi's

Does your favorite pair of jeans feel a bit worn out, and you’re craving a refresh? Levi’s, the ultimate denim brand, offers the chance to give a second life to your favorite pieces. This upcycling approach lets you completely revamp your jeans’ style right in the store.
You can add patches, change the buttons to different colors, embroider sweet words or beautiful designs, change the leather tag color on the back of the jeans, add holes, hem them, or even fix tears, zipper problems, and other defects. The new addition? You can also have Sashiko done, a Japanese technique that makes the white seams pop. So, bring in your Levi’s jeans (washed beforehand) or find a perfect pair on-site to make your own. You’ll leave with a completely transformed piece that you'll wear again and again.

Levi’s, 44 Avenue des Champs Elysées, 75008 Paris 8e. Open daily from 10 am to 8:30 pm. Personalization: €5 per patch, €10 for 3, and €15 for 5, €3 per button, embroidery starting at €15, €3 for studs individually. Allow a delay of two days to two weeks.

Le Nom

Le nom shop in Paris

This boutique on Rue des Rosiers will definitely make you fall in love. For two years, this lovely Italian brand has been offering leather bags and small leather goods that you can personalize. The story? Filippo, co-creator of Le Nom, attended his sister’s wedding in Saint-Tropez and received a straw basket painted with his initials as a gift. The idea instantly sparked, and a few months later, he decided to open an e-shop for personalized bags, followed by stores in Milan, Portofino, and now Paris.

At Le Nom, you can have your initials painted, as well as words, phrases, and designs in various colors and fonts. An artist, skilled in calligraphy, will paint the letters you chose directly in the store.

To personalize: the Catherine bucket bag, the brand’s best-seller (€140), the Christine baguette bag (€120), or the beautiful new Constance bag (€195), all personalized with gorgeous lettering.

Le Nom, 19 Rue des Rosiers, Paris 4e. Open daily from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm. Personalization: €30 per customization.

Uniqlo

Uniqlo customization shop

The Uniqlo Opéra store and the one on Rue de Rivoli offer two fantastic corners. On the lower level, you can now breathe new life into part of your Uniqlo wardrobe thanks to the RE.UNIQLO repair studio. They repair, transform, and personalize your clothes with the help of a team of skilled hands.

For repairs, you can get hems done, sew buttons, or fix other holes (starting at €3). For personalization, you can add embroidery, apply patches, or opt for the traditional Japanese Sashiko stitching technique, which repairs, embellishes, and recycles your pieces in an open and intentional way (starting at €10). You can select a design from a catalog and let a big machine do the work to transform your jeans, t-shirt, sweater, or accessory.

For a fully personalized printed t-shirt, head over to the UTme corner to print an image of your choice on a simple white model for €19.90.

To personalize: a classic white t-shirt lacking a little pizazz (€19.90), a baggy blue jean (€39.90), or even a banana bag everyone is after (€14.90). Note: only Uniqlo items can be repaired and/or personalized.

Uniqlo Opéra, 17 Rue Scribe, Paris 9e. Open daily from 10 am to 8 pm. Personalization starting at €3.
